Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

The trip was utterly DISAPPOINTING. Instead of seeing vast expanses of tulips all across the fields, all we saw was this:

One vast expanse of daffodils. (Hey I paid to see TULIPS, not daffodils!)

We went too early and most of the tulips weren't blooming yet! Argh! Worst of all, it rained the whole time we were there and the sun only came out when we returned to Acacia Court. -_- (Is it a sign that I shouldn't be enjoying myself so much?)

In the end we had to pay $2 to get into Roozengarde so that we could see some tulips. There weren't many varieties but they were quite pretty. My camera failed me again - the pictures taken were all too bright with barely any colour, but the videos were fine. Stupid camera. And Olympus is supposed to be a reputable camera brand, eh?

Freezing cold!

Well one good thing that came out from the trip was that we befriended two friendly Taiwanese girls, Flora and Yaowen. Flora's from Taipei and Yaowen's from Kaohsiung. Pretty amiable and fun to talk to, though most of the time it was Huishan doing the talking. Haha.
