2nd Last Day of Class

Today was the last tutorial (or quiz section, in UW terminology) for developmental biology and it felt quite sad that we (probably) won't be seeing our quirky classmates and having the enjoyable tutorials with Kelly (the prof) and Valerie (the TA) anymore since we've elected to take modules with no tutorials next quarter. The lessons have really been enjoyable although some of the topics were sheer torture (especially the lecture on segment polarity genes, pair-rule genes and what not). It's been a whole new experience, speaking up in class voluntarily and just throwing out ideas without worrying if they sound nonsensical or not.

Our lecturer Kelly Grant - a fun, lovable and approachable person.

I think I'll also miss hearing Jolie's funny remarks and questions, seeing Victoria's eclectic ensembles (this gal has got a really good fashion sense) and Pilar's quiet but dignified presence in class. My only regret is that I haven't gotten to know them better because I was too shy/lazy/apathetic. Haha.

So well, tomorrow's the last day of class. Then the finals. =(
